hello
has anyone got for a sale a manifold for r1 carbs or is able to make a manifold cheaper than bogg brothers would
i have seen on other forums people creating there own manifolds

you dont need r1 carbs for a 1l i was going to use 600 from a suzuki that was more than enough.

i wouldnt put em on a 1.0 i wanna get a 1.6 in the future jst weighing up costs and stuff first and gta get insurance quotes lol

o fair enough, i still would of thought 600's would of been enough. They are the better option to go down on in terms of reliabilty in day to day use, but the down side is that they will eat your fuel.

mmm i spose i dont knw anything about carbs i didnt reli mean r1 carbs in particular just any bike carbs realy
what would be the most economical carbs to put on ? surly they would be roughly the same ?

most likely yes, but then there is the cost in buying them r1 carbs go from £100-£200 in price then 600 carbs can go for £30-£50. have a look on mig web they are big into bike carbs on there.

okie dokie is it the same setup i need tho will the manifold be differnt for 600 carbs ? and can i use a 600 fuel pump ?

what ever is availble at the time but i have noticed more 16v availble at good prices also i have an electric speedo so wouldnt i need to get a late 1.6 from a sport ?

can can use r1 carbs on a 1.0 you just need to get them jetted and set up
