too much metal in the pad itself..caused by dodgy manufacturing...
or not enough grease on the pads

If they have been on a while they prob need changing. If they are fairly new then prob not bedded in properly.

Change in laws in brake pads, Its a common problem due to having to use more metal in the pads.

The usual problem is posting in the wrong forum.

They could be glazed, either take the pads out and scrub them with a wire brush or go very fast and slam on the brakes to clear them.

Mine squeak like hell to, I think its just because they are DS2500's. My Halfords or GM pads never used to, and these have a lot more copper slip on the back of them than my old pads did.

High performance pads always squeak unless fully heated up, You will always hear the higher end evos etc squeaking as they have good pads standard.

All Evos with Brembo callipers do it.In fact, all cars with Brembos do it.Its not the pads, its the callipers.
Focus RS's,406 Coupe V6's,Fiat Coupe Turbo's etc all have squeeky brakes as they have Brembos as standard.
