Hi,

Mate of mine has offered me his 97 Corsa 1.2 8v for £50.

Head gasket is fucked, engine is full of sludge, it's drinking water etc

Instead of doing the head ill just swap the engine with the 1.2 spi i have here.

His is the 1.2 with a coil pack.

Questions:

1) Is the coil pack lump a 1.2 MPi unit?
2) How easy is it to swap the coil pack etc onto the Spi block?

1.2 8v are all SPI, the 16v are MPI.

The 1.4 8v SRi lump is MPi

Anyone else know?
