Recently my car stalled while i was driving at 40? it stalls when ever i put the clutch down...i cant change gear without grinding..this only occurs when car is running? when car isnt running can change gears...

well sounds like you have 2 problems your car isnt idling, it just drops off, does your speedo work?
secondly your cluth isnt clearing! thats why you cnat get in gear with engine running, adjust it up

My speedo works.. i guess...you mean is it correct?
With the clutch how much to fix?

free! look on top of gearbox, there is a cable with a square nut on the end, twist it clockwise untill the pedal raises higher, they try that, failing that its gearbox out and new clutch, do fix your self about 80 quid
