Right, im at a loss when it comes to engines, so im trying to learn 
I had a thread recently about my car being rather smokey on start up.
Its got slightly worse, but it is still intermittnet (sp). (and i still have no video).
What i want to know is, can a car overfuel when its started up?
Could the smoke be something to do with the injectors? because the smoke smells of nothing but really stong petrol/exhaust fumes.

Sounds like it's overfuelling on start-up which it will do anyway.
If you just leave it and don't drive it does it rev slightly high, then die down after a minute or two?
Sounds like it's just the scondary air system,. I removed mine,

Erm.
Every time i start it up from cold it will idle about 1100 and drop to 800 after a wee while. But its always done that.
Its just that it still smokes even if its warm and ive turned off and have to start it up again..............but then the next time it doesnt smoke at all  
I put some redex in to see if that did anything, but so far, nope.

sounds like valve stem seals. If they have gone it will normally do it on startup or if you have been driving for a bit then idle then boot it off again

What colour is the smoke on startup?
Black = Fuel
Blue = Oil
White = Water
Are you losing Oil?
Are you losing Water?
Would the CTS or Lambda sensor not cause over fueling on Startup?
