I've looked up the mini handbook, but it just says to stop the engine and wait till it cools down then on another page it goes on about adding additives?

Right I think I've found the page telling me what to do, will a normal petrol station sell coolant?

You do realise that coolant is the stuff you find in taps?

Unless you live in a super hard water area, when you can get demineralised water from the likes of Halfords. Then you need to add coolant/antifreeze in the ratio depending on the time of year, colder weather means more antifreeze for example.

Just top it up with water, its pretty new and i guess you have it serviced ect. Should just be a screw lid or pop off lid. There will be a line on the bottle for the max' water too.

Put some Castrol GTX in to keep everything flowing nicely too.
