Hi everyone,
Be gentle with the newbie .
My friend has a P plate 1.2 Corsa with what I think is the C12XZ (or something like that) engine. He's complaining of the auxilary belt squealing, now I've searched through the forum, found a few threads but none of them can help me specifically with the belt itself. I work for Vauxhall (parts) and the belt for this car is showing as a toothed belt where every 3rd tooth is slightly wider, does the belt sound right? I thought the pulley on the alternator would be a V grooved one?
