what I did with my bike...was take the fuel lines out of the carb and feed them into a jerry can, started the bike....SOMEHOW as I was turning the key it was chugging out all the fuel until the battery died.

you fucking goon i lifted my tank up and all the fuel went down the bottom, drilled the dry section and poured it out

take the 2 tank straps off and get the tank off and pour it out its easy

drilling the tank is fine!
Or run the fuel pump on positive, connect a tube to you're fuel rail and let it do the work

That's got more chance of exploding that drilling into the petrol, it's the fumes that ignite, liquid petrol is fairly hard to ignite.

when i wanted to drain the fuel out of my tank i just disconnected the fuel filter held the pipe in a jerry can turn the engine over and the fuel will piss out!! or connect live feed to the pump save wasting ur battery
