may be buying to new doors with elec windows
can i just run a positive and a negative to the switch or does it have to be hooked up to other stuff

wtf? Why buy doors?
What you need to do first, check the multiplug, if you have enough wires, it's easy. You need about 20. If you have them:

get the door loom for leccy windows, the motors that go in the doors and the switches and fit them.

If not, the same as above only you can to wire in electric window wiring into the car as well which im currently in the process of doing

becuase one of mine is fuked
and he selling 2 for £45 they have elec windows

well its up to you but its easier to get the wiring etc and put them in rather than replace a full foor lol
