years ago in the nova days, if you put a 1200 head onto a 1300 bottom end it became a 1400

well you can make a 2.3 by using a 2.2 block and 2.0 head so yes it could

Most big blocks are interchangerble. Same goes for small blocks.

a good mod back then was to fit a Nova SR 1300 head to a 1400 block....

You can fit a XE head on a 2.2 block.
