My PS3 keeps crashing, doesnt load DVDs, cant get past the menu screen on COD. Ive tried updating the software. Its nearly 2 years old now. Anyone else had similiar problems? What are my options? To be honest I was considering selling it before it broke anyway.

If its the disc drive you could be out of luck

If it is the hard drive then, as above, buy a cheapy for £50, fit it yourself and bobs your uncle

Il try a demo from the hard drive and see what happens. If it works like try a laser cleaner.
