I have a decat pipe that a tried to fit the other week but it was too short for some reason could this be because it was off a gsi or an 8v corsa when mines a 16v 1.4 ? Or could it be because I have a cat back exhaust ? Thing is though the normal cat fits perfectly with my cat back exhaust help me please !

Basically are the 8v and 16v decat pipes different lenghts??

yeah i think they are different sizes, most likely different manifolds so will have different cat/decat. systems are the same as far as i know

i bought a decat pipe of ebay not too long ago
apparently a "perfect fit for x14xe". its too short
having to extend it with some pipe and a welder, shoulda just made one
never buying sportex stuff again

There's a shop on eBay that sells decat pipestone suit your car u give them the reg and that's all they need so should it be ok buying one of them ? It should be the same length as the cat pipe ?!?! :s?
