Hi guys,

Basically I am constantly having problems with my N97...

It's been sent back for repair once already because of the screen... (just cut out)

Now it's forever crashing I literally have to restart it about 3/4 times a day... (screen just freezes)

It's especially bad considering if there was an emergency and I couldn't use my phone

What can I do? I think I may be due an upgrade this year but not sure when? I was going to let my gf have my upgrade as I used hers to get the N97

Thing is it's got the latest software and a fairly new screen - if I take it back to repair there is nothing they can do?

Anyone here work for phones 4 u?

check you firmware version

*#0000# on the phone will show your firmware version.

http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update#

Make sure you backup the phone before you do this otherwise you will lose everything.

Looks like v21.0.045 is out now.

If it is upto date, then take to nokia repair centre usally car phoneware house say its not fit for purpose.

Got the latest software, just getting sick and tired of it!!!
