Fits straight onto standard mounts, newer engine, lighter, and very tunable.

12v onto a 16v loom will be a nightmare though

engine mounts may be different, loom, ecu transponder, key chip, driveshafts, gearbox, engine, exhaust manifold and full exhaust will be different to 12v.

It can be done as I asked DaveyLC about it once. I think it is different to changing it from a 16v engine though.
