not sure if its the same on all gearboxes; but on a 1.2 8v, its on the left hand side of the gearbox as you look into the engine bay; the unit with a black cable running into it. Its a 5 min job and costs about £5 for a replacement as I remember. Only thing is, to make life easy, you will need a deep socket
