So I've nearly got everything for my redtop conversion ive been told I can use my standard 1.4 sport shafts with new cav 1.6 inner cvs is this safe ???

If you mean by safe, will it work?
No would be my anser, they will snap. Especially if your driving it for the first time, the temptation to plant the foot constantly will result in snapped driveshafts.

ran 1.6 shafts on loads of xe's and mates have on turbos absolutely no dramas at all.

u can use gsi 22 spline shafts with cav mk2 1.6 inners

corsa gsi shafts are fine aslong as there 22spline mate

No.

Bear in mind there are also 2 different Cav Mk2 1.6 inner CV's available.

they wont fit, you can try and get some from your local motor factors

mk2 big block 1.6. If you search on mig there are part numbers to ask for at uni part etc.
