My mate from work is having trouble starting his corsa. Turn the key and the starter motor is fine but the engine just isnt even trying to start not even juddering or attempting to starting at all.
I popped the bonnet and he had a cone air filter which fell off as soon as i touched it then i told him to turn the key while i was looking and a puff of thick white smoke came out the tube the filter was attached to.
He said his battery wasnt much cop so i put mine in as his brother had flatted it trying to start it so many times but still nothing.
Any ideas, feel bad for him as he hasnt long had the car and isnt the sharpest of guys and i dont want him to get the shaft at a garage.
