Talking about the x16xe or c16xe, has it been done or can it be done and is there any benifit of having a 6th gear.

None whatsoever. Even on an XE it's a waste of time so on a 1.6 you'll struggle to even power 6th gear probably, that's IF you could get one to fit.

IF you was going to do it look at the new Corsa 1.3 as they have a small block 6 speed.
I know the F28 big block box would not work very well, but i have seen if done.

actually they are very simialr gear ratios the f15/17 and f28 apart the 6th gear.

yes it can be done and with a f13 by the look but sit down when you see how much it costs
