hi everyone bought myself a 1.4 corsa sport a few weeks ago and noticed something different under my bonnet. on every other corsa sport iv seen there is a silver metal cylinder just infront of the rocker cover at the front of the engine bay with pipes coming of it goin to somethin just infront of the battery, but i dont have any of this in my engine bay, just wondering what it is what does it do and why have i not got one?

Its the SAI (Secondary air system)
Which re-circualtes the exhaust gases to improve emmissions iirc? (warms cat up quicker?)
You dont need it anyways
Get a picture up of your corsa and engine bay, you might have an after market manifold, hence the removal of said SAI

cheers fot the reply mate put my mind at rest because didnt see anyone elses corsa without one, yer i will be uploading pictures soon new to all this so its all slow progress thanks again mate
