right so here it is need a little help with the car, have made it easier for you all with pictures.
this is the light that comes on (oil can) i have cheaked the oil level and it is full.

had a look around the bay and found there was a dripping part (and velcro bit covered in wet oil)


i have more pictures if a clear one is needed but the part im looking at is on a corsa b 1.2 16v its petrol and when you pop the hood is down in the bottem left part of the engene.
any ideas?

just to say thats the temp from 2 mins fired up. if out driving for 20 mins or so it goes very high.

ahhh why is the sensor leaking bad?expensive fix? and the light goes off then it revs high while travelling.

needs a new sensor there prone for going, mine went a few weeks ago, cost me 4.58 on trade iirc

no an open ended spanner will do the job, unscrew old one and stick new one in and tighen up and plug in the plug to the new switch and sorted no more oil light and no more leaks
