So drove it twice already this morning and was fine then as I was going round a round about i put my foot on the gas to continue at the speed everyone was else going and then it went!

It just turns over but doesnt fire, yes there is petrol but as for spark i dont know. its a 12volt haha

anyone got any ideas? my mates dad works for the AA and hes going to have a look at it at some point but hes on call so its hard to get him down at a certain time.

crank sensor or coil pack? oh the car has been a bit jerky from time to time for no reason.

Id say your predictions are right. crank sensor sounds like its fudged

Sounds like crank sensor, my 12v started cutting out when it was warm, as soon as it cooled down a bit it would start.

i own many guitars haha

yeah i might have a look at it, i dont really want to drive it if its gonna cut out again.

had this happen in my sxi. it used to get hot and cut out. left it for about 15 minutes then it started back up.

eventually the headgasket went though.

Just took the car out to get some food and it was fine until it got a bit hot and the temp went just over 90 degrees and as i was parking it back home it cut out and didnt start again.

moved the car from down the road to outside my house and it started but the engine management light came on for a bout 3 seconds then went off while the car was running.

have you changed a crank sensor? think i might have a go myself tomorrow just wondering where its locating.

just seeing if anyone else had an opinion fella, that all.

its on the bottom of the engine by the crank.

Got it fixed, seems all good now but only time will tell i guess! cheers for the help guys
