Right well my shell is going to take alot of effort to get it up to standard and ive got the chance to get a new shell in mint condition for £200, couple of questions tho.
1. my shell was an 8 valve shell and the new one is a 1.4 16v shell, do i need a new mount to put my xe in it? or can i swap engine mounts,
2. will it alter my insurance as the old shell was a 1.2 8v with everything declared and the new will be a sport shell with everything declared.
3, it has aircon would it be possible to keep the aircon with an xe conversion?
any help appreciated?

1. you will need a chassis mount to bolt onto the chassi leg if your 1.2 8v didnt have power steering
2. id go with yes as its will be a better spec'd shell and prob seen as more desirable
3. mtech do a mount so that you can refit the aircon pump but its aircon or power steering cant have both

so could i use the mount of my 1.2 8v or would i need the new conversion mount to fit the existing mount on the new shell?
and does that bracket allow me to fit the air con pump of the corsa or of the xe?

if you 1200 didnt have power steering your front mount should have just been one of these

you would need these 2 to fit your xe in a sport
chassis mount and rubber mount

aircon bracket
