Wouldnt you miss being close to town or is that now a concern?

That's the main debate at the moment
I do like being in town, and love the area that we live in, but getting a house in this area is pretty much out of our budget just now and I'm getting a bit tired of being in a flat
A move out of town would mean more room for the cars and the dog
...and it's on the 'good' side of town for going down south

That's lovely!
The room could have a big feature fire place, with big sofa's surrounding or a big corner sofa, big french doors across and then a dining table at the other side perhaps?

Hmmm, could have the main dining room as a more formal room for dining?

On one side I'd seperate it from the other with a huge double sided sofa, the shape of half a square if you can imagine it. Huge square coffee table in the middle of it. I'd have a projector for a TV, any normal size TV would be swallowed in that room. Behind the sofa I would have a huge dining table, maybe you could also seperate the 2 with an open sided book shelf or something similar.
I can see it in my head but it's hard to explain

yeah, we wouldnt double up a room.
It has a dining room and massive dining kitchen, so no need for a 3rd dining table.
There is also 5 bedrooms, so one of them could potentially be a study, or a huge cupboard upstairs that could be a study, and the landing upstairs is so big that it could potentially be a study or second lounge
There is the option of extending out onto the patio area and opening up the kitchen and lounge into it and having a huge kitchen/lounge/dining area

Lounge is the one straight ahead, kitchen to the left
Dont know what we'd do with the current dining room though

I don't know how a fireplace in the middle of the lounge would work.
Since the master bedroom is above it, I doubt we could have a real fire in the middle of the lounge, and I wouldnt remove the real fire for a 'fake' one
