Just an idea I've copied from Northloop.
What we do is pick a track and car a week and see who can set the fastest time.
NO SETUPS NO TUNING
So I propose for this week, Focus RS on Silverstone GP
Post fastest times here, no cheating as it's easy to check the leaderboard to see if you are chatting shite

I suppose if you want to adjust the standard cars setup fine, as long is it doesn't increase the car from it's class rating which I think is a 354 as if it goes above 354 it will show on the leaderboard.

Nope changing a cars tuning setup wont affect its class rating..which is good as I always tend to alter a few things to make it better for me.
Will give it a blast tonight and post my time

Should beat it, i'll probably improve on that time tbh. Atleast is set's a benchmark.
Think the only thing you can change on a standard RS is the tyre pressure.
Time trials will probably work better than the 'championship' as people can do it as and when the like (within a week window).
Edit: Would it be better if you added times to the first post?

I think both will work, but having time trials gives the people that aren't avaliable on particular nights the opportunity to be involved still.

Maybe I should build an iphone app, that tells me what mods will do to my cars performance index etc? so i can sit at work modifying cars and making the best cars in certain PI classes...

i just had a look at that forza app on iphone - it's not the same as what i'm talking about... it's something that suggests settings...
I'm talking about a app which gives you every car, the cars details as standard such as power, weight, cost etc...
then allows you to choose parts for it, and see how it effects the car (Weight / power / Performance index).
