I'm supposed to be fitting an x16xe from a tigra into my mates 1.0 corsa b, he's got a c16xe engine loom and ecu and my c16xe inlet manifold inc wiring, would it all go together and work or would I need to bodge the loom?
I've had a few mates say its completly different but some people say it can be done, any help will be appreciated

put all the inlet manifold etc from the C16XE and swap the looms over, just use the block of the X16XE.

As long as you have the AFM anyway, and remove the SAI and EGR systems completely.

I don't have AFM, I didn't have one on my c16xe and ut ran fine without, just need to get blanking plate for EGR, what's a SAI?

Secondry air injection. Its the fan assembly & mushroom looking valve that connects to the X14 & X16 exhaust manifold, you will need a lil teardrop shaped plate to blank over the hole in the manifold but easily done and makes a lotta space in the bay

And how didn't your c16 have a AFM? And ran fine? Mine had a afm and when it got fooked it ran like shite or bearly even ran :/

I had one but it got nicked (long story) so I just put engine in and ran it, was abit shit when it was cold but I kicked its head in and was fine after warmed up, put air filter on and it ran like white, took it off and ran miles better and kicked in my raised rev limiter :S
Just managed to get engine in tonight, had to change the interior wiring loom, lucky I just happened to have one lying about
