Cars been feeling slow lately so took it out on a long quiet stretch and hammered it.
Its an R plate with 57k on the clock and an old K&N.
Hit approx 124mph...had a little bit more in it but not much.
I kno it aint exactly that speed cause the clock wil be out at such a speed, but does that sound about right?

I've had an accurate 136mph out of mine with more to go. Its not limited by box, its the power, and then if you have enough of that its the rev limit.

official figures are
bhp: 104@4000 rpm
0-60: 9.5
top speed: 119
not that impressive due to ecotec engine
anything much over this will be speedo out and surface conditions

my clocks read 127 on the rev limiter in fifth, i know i wasn't going that fast but it felt bloody fast!
i've never been able to do it again, and my engine did sound like a bag of nails for a bit after that too.
another thing also, i can get 100 in forth easily, its in the red but it just revs right up - what gear box do i have ( F13 or F15) i also get 79 in third, and can get 56 in second just b4 the limter.

what makes me laugh is the fact that peeps say the 1.4 16v g/box is limited to like 117mph so why is it the tigra reaches 118 an 1.6 do 126
aerodynamics is the reason but both cars have same engines as the corsa lol lol

and weight reduction, think the tirge weights a few kg's less, could be wrong.

Tigra does 117mph actually. (X14XE). F13 GB on the standard 6620rpm limiter will only do this. This has been PROVED.
1.6 16v stats.
C16XE Corsa - 121mph
X16XE Corsa - 119mph
X16XE Tigra - 124mph (more areodynamic).
