Hi,
just after a bit of knowledge if possible,
my c16xe has an occasional top end tap usually when its warm apprently its supposed to be due to a lazy lifter ?
Ive changed the oil and filter was running quiet but when warm it seems to tap then stops tapping for a bit then comes back.
Very annoying lol
defintley top end tap engine has 57k on it
Anything i could do to find out it if it is a lifter at fault or maybe the tappets ?

Try a good quality engine flush or additive if its not a major tap, hopefully that will flush out the lifters and regain there flow of oil through them.
If that fails, just tell everyone your running solid lifters and some crazy cams and thats why it sounds like that

Mines abit tappy too just fully rebuilt it but didn't change the lifters now gotta take it back apart too change them lol and mine is louder wen warm
