Whats the wow wow wow for sribaby, i've been kicking about in the motor for months with a spacer in there and it's 100% fine, please explain why this is such a bad idea?

did you edit the title rob, I didnt think it said redtop before. it's made gary looking even more of a diddy

a cv joint packed with washes then put into hub you tell me whats right with it.

i looked into similar to what alan is saying on my old nova. sorted the issue with abs rings and it fixed it

Not yet mate, I can't work on it at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I done them tight, and its quite a bit of play in them. I will double check though mate

well since there aren't exactly any off the shelf type driveshafts to fit an xe in a corsa what are youmeant to do if you're outside fitting a new driveshaft but it's not tightening? You're very welcome to go out and get a new shaft but since I could tell it would be completely safe even before I did it I went ahead. Just because its not been done before doesnt make it wrong

sounds bodge thats what im saying so you have washers be hind the hub on the cv joint?

Your probably right mate. But considering there's quite a lot of corsa redtops on here I thought it could of been a common problem with the conversion.
