I know nothing about car electrics but is the screen washer fused?

Its just stopped working, you can't hear any motor trying to work so just wondering if its fused so i could check fuses if not would it be the motor itself?

Everything on a car should be fused. So its worth checking every fuse (This can be made easier by using a multi meter or similar).

If its not the fuse, the motor is normally the next one to die, unlikely to be the stalk. Most die due to being filled with washing up liquid

It's on the same fuse as the wipers. So if the wipers still work, then it's not the fuse.

I'd unplug the pump and put a multimeter on the pins in the plug, then get someone to pull the stalk to activate the pump. If you get 12v there then the pump is fucked. If you get nothing then unlucky it's a wiring fault, good luck finding that.

Yeah wipers still work.

There is a little box in the passenger footwell behind the kick panel.Does this have anything to do with the screenwash motor?

Well changed the motor today and it doesn't work also checked the fuse ect and the wiring under the scuttle panel and all looks in good order.

One last thing i could think of is the wiper stalk,is it worth trying another in?

Fixed stalk was fine,my cousin popped over he picked my old pump up tapped it off the wall then put 2 wires from the pump up to the battery then the motor started to work again so its fixed for now
