They finally released it yesterday in the app store.

Nothing major but there might be some geeks following the political side of things surrounding it etc...

Seems not to bad tbh.

Ive been using friendly before and that lets you add a pin number to the app so you dont have to login every time, shame it doesn't have something like that.

yes, tried this last night and thought it was quite good.
It does remember accounts and so only have to input your password each time (in the case of sharing with the misses).

A short pin would be better tho.

Doesn't seem a lot of point in making a new thread but has anyone had trouble with the new facebook app for iPhone? Downloaded the update and it wouldn't even get past the loading screen. Deleted the app then downloading again and it got stuck on the install screen and froze the phone. So had to reset then downloaded it again and it seems to work now?

Only if you log out, i.e if you share the ipad with someone else.

Mine was ok, saw a mate on facebook saying that his went tits up since updating the app. You using 4.3.5? Dont know if that would affect anything.
I see ios5 is out this week aswell

FB for my iPhone is shit. Doesn't display hardly any status updates. Must be some compatibility error somewhere.
