Right the problem is, i have installed everything properly, the headunit is all in place (sony CDX-m730), the problem everytime i turn the cd player off and take the front off, and then come back a bit later, i put the facia bak on and then turn it on and then all my previous settings are deleted and the cd which was previously in ejects automatically for no reason! its bloody annoying! anyone know what i mean??

May be a lack of a constand live feed thats making the settings disappear - do you loose al station presets too? - I dunno - somebody on here will though.

ummmm, well i try and set the station yeah and they never stay there. the main thing is when i set the bass for example at full and the treble at full the next time i turn it opff then back on the settings go back to the middle

whip the headunit out, in the sony wiring loom you will have a red wire and a yellow wire, they will have bullet connectors in the middle of them, swap the wires around. so instead of having:
red to red
yellow to yellow
you have:
red to yellow
yellow to red.

thats the right way 2 do it. on a corsa in the loom the permanent and the switched live are the wrong way around for sum stupid reason.
