hi as above, the best AND ONLY quote i can get so far is from Zurich at a mighty 3 GRAND and thats on my dads name who has 7 years no claims, im 20 with no NCB, PLEASE somone help me as my Ban is over soon and i need to get insurance is their any insurance company in particular that i could try?

no matter were you go it will be huge on a gsi with no NCB at 20 with drink drive might have to get a metro

You'll have to go for some thing smaller like supacorsa said...Liverpool Victoria are quite good but wont insure you for any thing like a gsi under 21? Ive just got a quote for £744 for a Zafira GSI so that is my next car gonna get it to courtney and get them to put the stage 3.5 in

i know someone who was banned and got insurance for £1200 or something on an R plate corsa sting (1.0) with Thames City i think it was...fully comp with no no claims and before u say but its only a 1.0 i was just giving an example

wat about the pass plus test?
heard u can only do it within the first year of passing your test, i had mine for over a year BEFORE i got Banned, so when i get it back will i be able to do the pass plus?
if so will ANY insurance company accept it and how much difference will it make?

erm no guys i disagree! coz during the FIRST month of my ban i tried to get some quotes so i would know if i should sell the Corsa Gsi n buy a Metro or sum little shit like that! but i actually got some decent quotes as a named driver, Endsleigh quoted 1600 quid TPFT with mods declared! Direct Line and Tesco quoted about 2500 quid FULLY COMP! before my Ban happend i was with tesco at 1700 quid fully comp and i was 19 then, but now i cant get quote from them anymore but then i tried Zurich who r shite anyway coz they quote loads normally let alone wit a drink drive conviction on a gsi, maybe i have to wait till my Ban is fully over???
