i know this is a corsa forum but it seems to be much better than any other forum out there

anyway ive got 52 plate 1.6 16v sxi astra mk4

the air intake temperature sensor had gone and ive bought myself a new one

only problem is, i cant get the bloody thing into the grommet on the intake

the old sensor's out (this was hard enough to do) but i just cant seem to figure out what im doing wrong in fitting the new sensor

anybody ever done one of these before and have any tips on how to get it fitted as its causing a lot of grief and i just want to get it sorted asap

thanks Adam

Only thing you can do really is lubricate with fairy liquid or whatever. Anywhere to grip it with a pair of grips or something so you can get a better push?

Had this before just a lot of pressure and some fairy liquid on it. Take the pipe off the car and fill it with news paper to get more pressure on it.
