I believe its a case of getting a new Fuse, problem is i have no idea what fuse and where to get it from lol
its a 2008 Astra Sri 1.8 with the vvt engine
Yes i have checked that there is fluid in there LOLOLOL
normally it makes a noise anyway if the pump is empty however the noise isnt happening now

After a quick look on google it should be fuse 7 (10 amp) under the bonnet.

has the washer not been used for a while? I had this on mine last week, id left the car parked up to do some work on the engine and when I went to wash the windscreen the wipers came on but no fluid and no pump noise, gave it a tap with the handle of a screwdriver and it popped back to life

Not really jaff, i replaced the fuse and it worked so must have been that. The back one isnt working though, i thought it maybe frozen but i bleed hot water thru and zilch...Bloody MOT in 2 weeks!!! might just take the wiper off lol

Rear wash doesn't matter for mot.
The jet will be blocked though to fix.

really??> what a touch!!
any ideas on how to unblock it Joe? I tried using hot water and a sewing needles, there was no blacks or anything there visable or once i poked around
