Just had a call from a friend, he wants to know from which vehicles he can get a Z16SE engine from.
he is working on a Mariva 03 reg, and he think there is a crack or something in the head or block as he is getting oil in the water, and after 2 head skims and gasget changes the problem is still there.
he now just wants to change the engine.
am i right in saying that a z16SE engine is the same no matter what vehicle it comes from, its just the ancilleries that are different or are there subtle differences in the block and head itself?
would appreciate any help anyone can give.

The z16se engine will be the same in every car its in just as you said. Ancillerys and things like that will be different
Couldnt tell you what vaux there in however. I know its daft but have you googled it? Haha

yeah have googled it, astras come up a lot. just wanted to make sure that the engines are interchangeable.
