Yeah for that panel.
Cylinder shaped thing has three screws underneath, need the glove box out first, that is two inside at the front, two underneath and one inside at the back.

Just to add on to one Ian said if you havn't done it before (which i'm presuming) take your time putting it back in as its a difficult first time round IMO.

reading through this i couldnt see a mention of the screw in the end of the cylinder piece, you need to remove the passenger side air vent to get at it, and when removing the glovebox if its the larger version remember the screw inside in theglovebox in the middle near the back, i always forget that one and wonder why the thing wont come out

aye, cheers for that, though id seen a scre on the outer edge in someone thread before, just in the nick of time as im about to go out and remove it haha cheers
mines the smaller glove box as it HAD a/c... what would i need to do to fit the bigger glove box other than get the glove box obviously?
its just in the next few days im going to be removing whatever A/C things that are left as a non A/C screenwash bottle (one that goes under the scuttle) will be going in... try kill two birds with one stone...

im pretty sure you would need to change the heater setup behind the dash for a non aircon version to get the larger glovebox in as the reason for a smaller one was to make room for the aircon components

thats it for the screws on the vent but it does push into the vent pipe behind the dash and they tend to be a tight fit, give it a good pull and a wiggle and it will come off

top bit on the ones i have stripped for parts at the breakers either have a plastic bung in or just a hole but i have never worked out what its for, vent on passenger side definately only has 3 fixings, two up top inside vent and one underneath where glovebox fits
