Vauxhall vectra 1.9cdti automatic light has come on says in the book exhaust gases light any ideas been on constant for day and half now cheers

Has it got a particle filter (DPF) fitted? usually a blast down the motorway at a set speed and rev's clears it unless its propperly blocked.

That is a different light in the book that has come on before and gone off after blast down the road but couple months later this light has come on and is staying on it says exhaust emission gases the particular filter is a different light
