its on C20XE corsa and the hose going into the the pump is weeping fluid, im wondering if i can just remove the belt and run the car with no power steering just til i get it sorted.............. as in will it damage anything

You'll be dine as long as it's an early setup, if it's late you'll disable the alternator as well by removing the aux belt

the hose which goes into the pump with the olive style fitting dont matter how tight i do it its weeps out so looks like new hose how ever the hose seems to end up at back of the engine so im not looking forward to having to change it..... garage job i think i really cant be arsed
