Just had mine fitted today which is all fine but the garage had to fit the heat shield back on which i wanted left off as the power steering pipe would be resting on the manifold which could melt they reckon. Is there any way or relocating it or summit so it out the way?
What did you do?
I can get a pic up if need to show you what i mean.

Will it be ok without the heat sheild with it being almost touching the manifold?
Is there any type of heat protection stuff i can wrap round the silver covering thats around the pipe as mine looks a bit tatty?
Its the silver hose in front of the manifold if people are not sure what im on about
