As above my corsa has just over halfa tank and there'sno wayI am scrapping itwith thatmuch petrolin anyone know any ways of removing the petrol without damaging the tank as I wanna fill it back up when I scrap it Only way I know is remove the pipe and placeit in a petrol can then as you try and turn it over it will pump out but not sure I wanna do this as may damage the starter for that amour of time

Other one I have hurd is the same with pipe and sticking a battery charger on the pump but known my look it will spark and I will blow my self up

Anyone got any other ideas?

Remove fuel pipe and turn ignition on. Should piss out.

Pump don't start up untill you turn the car over it don't work on just the ignition

Put 12v to your pump then. You wont bluw yourself up

just lift the back seat and splice into the loom for the pump and run it too the battery.

it will empty the tank no problem,

if you're filling the tank with water, they sometimes check and deduct you.

Gone track the wires to the front of the car cut into them and stick battery charger or battery on. My meaning of blow my self up was connectiong a battery charger near fuel and there been a spark

dont use a hose pipe and your mouth, it can get nasty

Pull out the relay and push a paperclip in there to force it to stay on. Disconnecct the fuel pipe and aim in whatever you're filling up

If you are scrapping it why are you bothered about knackering the starter?
