Hi all got a 20xe Corsa b with f20, had a problem it's ripped the bolts out of the back of the box, just wondering what people's views are on the 3 bolt mount/spacer kit of eBay?

i made my own for the f20 to 3 bolt, then 4 bolt with the f28, i havent had experience with that kit off ebay but somesthings needed, since i went to 3 and 4 bolts ive neveer had an issue. But its so annoying with 2, mainly cause the majority of boxes you find now have been helicoiled, so you cant tighten them too much.

3 bolts are far better than two bolt mounts,
As regarding not being able to do bolts up a tight because they are helicoiled, wrong. A properly done helicoil is stronger than the original tapped hole in alloy.

Well all the ones you've delt with have been fitted by monkeys and morons.
At work we have drilled out the head stud threads in many alloy v8 blocks an replaced with with helicoils as its commonly known they are stronger, and these are motors for drag cars. So go do some research before spouting your misinformed bullshit.
Your talking to someone go deals with things like this daily being an engineer.

Gazza is right but it needs to be done properly. A helicoil done right spreads the load much better than most original threads.
