just wondering if anyone has ever done this?
just to save me changing to disks on the rear when i 5 stud the car .

Suppose it'll only be the same as when people re drill front discs for the same reason.. As long as its done right you'll be fine

Apart from the holes in a drum are threaded, and therefore at least two holes will end up elongated.
There's also the fact that there's extra material behind the threaded holes.
Basically, don't do it.
