If you cant fit a lexmaul Inlet you shouldn't be near a car tbh...

Remove old inlet 5 bolts (two front, 3 rear) and undo the jubilee clip to the throttle body.
Then just remove the odd vac hose.

Fitting the lexmaul is the reverse of removing the standard inlet.

It's that easy

Good project you have done a fair bit. Only just gathering bits for my gsi. Lower x16xe inlet picked up so can crack on fitting lexmaul.

He means he needs to fit the lower inlet of a x16xe as it needs adapting for his gsi. Remove old inlet (top) 5 bolts. remove throttle body, (remove expansion tank for easier access to throttle body). remove alternator then you should have enough room either side to get a socket on the lower inlet bolts. its awkward but you can do it. The blue connecter plug twists to undo I believe. I hear people also have removed it from underneath the car, as to which way is best I honestly don't know....just a rough guide to help you mate, others will no more.
Despite others beliefs sarcasm unfortunately wont help you get it fitted. good luck

If he asked the question properly he would get a proper answer, was no mention of engine or what he required fitting other than the lexmaul.
