Hi all,

I have a Corsa GSI 1600 here is South Africa, which has the 8v head.

There was talk that i could put a 16v Daewoo head on with a little adjustments here and there, but a developer said that the new 16V EcoTec head is an easier fit and more moddable.

Any pointers or advise?

Im thinking this would be extremely difficult to pull off. You have to think whether your 1600 is MPI or SPI, and also remember that the Corsa 1.6 16v is DOHC rather than single. I reckon it would be easier to source an original 1600 16v engine from here in the Uk, or Europe.
