Im thinking of getting a Stainless Steel Back Box with a straight through pipe. Im going to spend about 120 on the back box and about 80 on the fitting and pipe. Why is a system better than this option, Im probably getting it done at Freeflow (Bathgate), why are full systems another 100 squid, is there that much difference in quality? Thanks if you can help.

You've got me?!?!
Erm, maybe you are talking about a stainless and non-stainless?
Best thing to do is either buy an exhaust off the shelf (Magnex, Mongoose etc.) or buy a decent back box (from a good, known name brand) and have the pipe work made up by a place like Power Flow. Usualy, back boxes by places like Power Flow are pretty bad quality, they often brake inside and make stupid noises. Off the shelf systems aren't bad usualy, I have a Magnex on my Punto GT and it sounds the absolute bollocks, extremly grunty and burbly. Go to cruises and ask other people what exhaust they have and see what they sound like and what the owner thinks to them etc.
