Ok peeps, My insurance is up for renewal in about a week, and I want to get my own policy not be a named driver.
I'm 19 and haven't had any crashes or claims, I've just rang liverpool victoria to get a quote for my Gsi and they said they wouldn't insure me because of the group, I would need to be at least 21.
I have contacted Adrian Flux and I'm waiting for them to get back to me...
Are there any other companys who insure younger drivers with a couple of minor mods (lowered, alloys etc..) ??
-=edit=- also does anyone know how kind CIS are about mods like the above ? I'll have to get my dad to ring them sometime, but it would be nice to know what to expect.

i'm with CIS they allow any mods for free except for engine mods which have a small charge

I am with Performance direct, my quote was £675 Third party £955 Full comp I have 3 years no claims, and am 21. I drive a GSI with 17's, lowered, exhaust, mantzel power box filter and over £1000 of ice and i told them about it all.
Expect to pay about £1100 third party
