The best set up for a 1.2 8v would be......
*14" rims (or smaller, but need width for handling.
*Drilled Airbox with K+N Panel filter and large cold air feed
*Very well serviced + looked after engine
*Rear fully Stripped Out
*Full Zaust system - with De-Cat
*F13CR Box
*No bodykit etc - just std bumpers etc, and maybe carbon fibre bonnet to lose more weight
And if u can stretch to it......A Lexmaul exhaust manifold
And i no, dispite this, it wont be a stormer, but ur lookin bout +10/15bhp more, which'll help. The Close Ration box will also help no end......lettin the engine redline in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th a hell of alot easier, meanin u can grab more power outta it.

How do you tell if you've got one of these or not? Mine seems to have the same revs at the same speeds as my moms 1.4 16v

I recon a 1.4 SRi manifold would do the same sorta thing Has a bigger bore, and its a 4-2-1 manifold so will be less restictive than standard . Also dirt cheap of a car from a scrappy .

U will not have an F13CR in a 1.2 8v.....u wil have a F10CR which was fitted to the later 1.2 8v's......
And yeah i believe the SRi manifold may work, but the whole zaust set up underneath will need to be changed as the c12nz engines has a one piece layout, where as the SRi was different i believe.
