can a 3 point harness be bolted into the top bolt hole from where the old rear seatbelts bolted into?just above the standard rear speakers? if they can it would save me cutting my false floor up . cheers

yup they can mate, all seat belt bolting positions are tested for strength hense why they are there, mates got his there on a fiesta, no trouble at all

I have them mounted there.
Safety wise, its NOT recommened.

the belts going off at an angle to the mounts. and the angle of the belts from the two at the front of the seat and the rear belt will be more than 90 degree. Should be in a "region" of 45 degree

if you have your OE belts then use them at MOT time. Probabaly an MOT inspector wont know how a 3 point harnsess shud be fitted.
