Is anyone here going to be buying the new Corsa OPC (GSi?) when it is released later this year or early next......?
Its either going to be a 1.6i 165bhp
or
2.0i 200bhp
engine, according to TOTAL VAUXHALL it will be released later this year
im seriously thinking about changing my 2002 SXi for it when it does.

yea i've heard its going to be a 1.6i Turbo too
with 175bhp on tap, performance of 0-60 in 7 secs and 140mph top speed

It stands for opel performance centre.
Also those pics are very old, I saw some pics a while ago of one testing on the 'ring. It was in petrol blue and had a bodykit similair to the corsa super 1600 rally car (really fat arches). The wheels were different too.
As for the engine, I raed that in TV too. The last official word was they were testing both a 1.6 and 2.0 of the outputs mentioned.

Everyone is speculating but no-one actually knows.
So everyone will just have to wait till Vauxhall send out an offical press letter. Even all the Vauxhall garages dont know what engines its gonna hve yet, or if its even going to be released!
