Well I have just finished rebuilding my engine after I had the head re-machined after my cam belt broke. EXCEPT, being a stupid retard i dropped one of my new cam pulleys and broke some of the guide (its the small one that the belt doubles back over before going round the exhaust cam shaft). Anyone have any idea where i can buy just that pulley, without buying the whole cam belt kit again?
Cheers

I think you can only buy the kit as a whole

The recomended mileage for a cam belt change seems to vary quite allot, when is the ideal time? My car has now done 28,500 miles.
How much is it going to cost to replace?

find out what the 2 differences are. It cant be much. U should be able to figure out whats urs. Did u fit the engine yourself, if so then it shouldnt be too difficult. I think i know how many threads are on water bottle jubile clip.
Now thats devotion for ya. lol.

The cam belt differences are for early or late types. IE with or without cam belt auto tensioner.
What year car was the engine from? Does it have blue or cream injectors? Odds are its early type.....
